Name: Paul

Position: Sales/Parts Manager

Background:

Paul has been playing in the water for well over 30 years (the exact number is an official state secret). Paul started water skiing until he joined Powerhouse Marine and found many different ways to enjoy our rivers, lakes and seas. Since then his love for powered watersports has grown and in his spare time you can usually find him playing on the water somewhere. During the cold winter months Paul prefers to do something a little drier and he heads for the snow...

Name: Sarah

Position: Sales Executive

Background:

Sarah took up kayaking in 2002 and since then has tried many different disciplines including solo and tandem canoeing, polo, sea kayaking and playboating. Although her favourite form of paddling is whitewater kayaking. Sarah has been to a number of events from the Tyne Tour, Liffey Descent and various Canoe Symposiums. Sarah is also a qualified coach and has spent many summer weeks teaching Army Cadets how to stay in their boats. Away from work and water Sarah has a variety of hobbies from rock climbing, horse riding, reading and sleeping.

Name: Simon (Big Si)

Position: Technician

Background:

Simon joined Powerhouse Marine in 1996 and immediately got to work building and repairing engines. In 1999 Simon built a race engine which won the British and European Championships and missed the World Title in the USA by one place. After all the excitement of the races Simon carried on working hard to keep up with the busy demands of the workshop, and he can often be heard singing tunelessly.

Name: Ross

Position: Technician

Background:

Ross loves anything to do with engines, and always has. Since he was a young boy Ross knew what he wanted to do when he grew up, he wanted to service and repair engines. In Ross''s spare time when he isn''t tinkering with an engine he can normally be found playing in the water somewhere.
